Breakthrough in the market for Folla Tech
Folla Tech has signed a contract with Kostrzyn Packaging in Poland for the delivery of six production lines for molded fiber packaging. This contract could become the largest in Folla Tech’s history and demonstrates that our solutions in dewatering and vacuum technology are highly competitive in the international market.
Molded fiber products are recyclable and biodegradable. They can replace a wide range of items that would otherwise be made from plastic. The investment made by Kostrzyn Packaging, supported by their owners Rottneros and Arctic Paper, also signals that the green transition is accelerating — and that the shift to sustainable solutions is happening faster than many might expect. We are proud to play an active role in this development.
The contract for the delivery of production lines for a key substitute to many plastic products comes in addition to a steady increase in renovation projects for machines and production systems. With this, Folla Tech confirms its strong position in the industry’s shift towards recycling and a circular economy.
This is a strategic focus area for us and complements our other business segments.
The project will generate activity across our locations in Motala, Verdal, and Follafoss.
